Tomorrow News: We Raised $4.2M and Welcomed Caribou Honig to Our Board!

Team Tomorrow

Tomorrow's tomorrow is looking bright.

In addition to adding insurance thought leader Caribou Honig to our board, we're thrilled to announce our latest round of funding ($4.2 mm, in fact!)

The round was led by Sinai Venture. Also participating in the funding were insurance industry leaders Aflac Corporate Ventures, Allianz Ventures, and Maschmeyer Group Ventures. Allianz, Plug and Play, and Flying Fish Ventures followed on from their pre-seed investments.

“We believe every family deserves financial security and a plan for caring for our greatest assets: our children,” said Dave Hanley, CEO of Tomorrow. “To enable busy families to take action in establishing guardianship for children and ensuring funding for college and the future, the process needs to be more accessible, less expensive and easier to accomplish.”

A huge advocate to that mission is Caribou Honig, a well-known leader in the insurance technology world. Cofounder and keynote speaker of the InsureTech Connect conference, he has authored numerous thought leadership articles, and advised startups and incumbents alike. During his tenure as cofounder of QED Investors, Honig aided the growth of numerous portfolio companies including MediaMath, Valen Analytics, Remitly, and Credit Karma.

Honig notes, “On the surface, the team at Tomorrow have built an app enabling people to create a will or trust, easily and for free. Under the surface, the company is really delivering peace of mind,” said Honig. “They are taking advantage of the increased usage and capabilities of smartphone to help people connect in a new way and execute goals as a family network.”

We're so excited to put this money and guidance to good use — continuing to build products to serve every American family!
